I cycled to Valle de La Muerte (Valley of Death) which is located about 4 km from San Pedro de Atacama. This valley has a unique rock formation which has been carved by the wind and floods many million years ago. It is one of the driest, most inhospitable places on earth and no known life exists here.
One has to pay 3000 CLP ticket to enter the area.
